2003 CC DS FNR switch replacement
I am installing a new heavy duty switch and want to do away with 1/2 speed reverse. Is this something I can do while replacing fnr switch. I use cart as a hunting buggy and need the power to reverse to get me out of some places I probably should not have gone.

Re: 2003 CC DS FNR switch replacement
You sure can, just disconnect the three wires from micro-switch #3 (furthest from the FNR body) and connect the Green and the White wires together, just tape the black wire as it will not be used.
You can also remove the two wires from micro-switch #2 (middle one) and tape each wire separately as they are for the reverse buzzer that you will not be using. The wires on micro-switch #1 are the only ones you will use with the new FNR. |

Thanks Sergio. I think I will keep the buzzer for safety sake.

Hi I am installing a gps on my club car precedent and do not know where the two wires to the gps connect to? There is one red & one black... not sure what positive wire to connect to the gps & what wire to connect to the black wire?

You need to start your own thread to focus on you. (and know that you most likely have a 12v GPS and will need a 48v->12v reducer installed to connect too.)

Re: 2003 CC DS FNR switch replacement
Hey all, Im trying to replace my fnr switch but cannot get any screws to break loose. I tried wd-40 for 1 day and PB Blaster for 2 days. I think I can hack saw the three screws holding switch housing, but how do I remove the handle? Advice appreciated.

Grind or drill the head off.

Re: 2003 CC DS FNR switch replacement
Got new switch installed. No problems after drilling the screw heads off. By passed 1/2 reverse speed and it makes a big difference. Thanks for the help. Now to get my high amp solenoid installed and then my Admiral motor. Ive had motor for over two years, just never got around to installing.
