1995 Ez Go
I am new to the cart world.I just bought a 1995 EZ GO cart and want to trick it out,but Iam on a budget. The tag in the glove box shows ser.88655 mol.G1995. lam wondering what this means other than its a 95 mol metalist, and what are my options as far as increasing speed. I have already bought a 5'' inch lift and 22x10 rims and tires. Please help if you can I know there are different options for different years.

Re: 1995 Ez Go
Double check those numbers. They don't look right.
One of the first things you should do is upgrade to a set of 4 gauge cables. They are relatively cheap and are available from any of our sponsors. Since you added larger tires 4 gauge will help your torque. You should have a series style cart. The standard is a 2 HP motor and a 275 amp controller. There is a higher amp controller and motor but I doubt you have one of those. The 275 amp controller will have a plastic cover over the controller...the high amp doesn't if I remember correctly. Snap a pic of the underside of the seat and we can tell you for sure. One of the best ways to get more speed is to upgrade to 48 volts but you will have to upgrade the controller, batteries, solenoid and the charger. EMP can re-work your motor at a decent price but they have about a 2 week turn around. |
