2001 club car are batteries shot if the water has been below the cells for a while?
I put 2 gallons of distilled water into these year old batteries. cart will slightly jump forward after a full charge.

What a shame...... I'm afraid they are gone. Individual voltage reading or better yet Specific gravity readings would confirm that.......

I agree with everyone else, they're like gonzo.
Recharge them about 5 times and see if they will come back, I've seen stranger things. |

How the do they even charge? They shouldn't have enough voltage to kick on the charger, should they?
Do they hold voltage and lose the amperage? |

Anytime the plates are exposed to the air, i.e. water level below the top of the plates, that area of the plates loose their ability to take a charge so I think your in need of new batteries. my .02c's.
