![]() 1984 club car- electric 36 volt
New 6 volt batteries Tons of problems caused by previous owner. Replaced 12 volt batteries with 6 volt. Replaced one solenoid and cart now runs. Problem is with speed controller. I am not familiar with how the cart is supposed to operate. When the peddle is depressed is the cart supposed to start slowly/? My cart only operates when peddle is fully depressed and when you release pressure on the peddle it stops. Are the solenoids supposed to increase the cart's speed as they are engaged? If so, am I looking for switches in the speed controller which are not pulling in the solenoids? Could the problem be the plastic slide inside the speed controller being worn? It appears to be ok but I have no reference to compare. |
