Default BV-24 carb upgrade

So I got the BV-24 carb put on my 91 3pg engine swapping it out from the BV-18 carb. I also took the intake off and enlarged the carb mount end and smoothed and polished the inside of the intake and wow did ever wake up the 3pg engine! Gained a little top end but really gained more low end power and response! I love it. Dave

Cool! As a visual for some folks, here's an 18 vs a 24. Pretty obvious which one is the 24.

With the added reed area of the 3PG vs the 2PG, I'd imagine the gains are even bigger than the older ones.
Moving the carb a lot closer, via a custom manifold, should add a bunch more.

Ya I couldn't believe the difference in size when I took it out of the box. I never thought about a custom manifold may have to check that out.

Some thing along these lines, should work, or could be made to.
