Hot start problem
I have a 89 ezgo marathon 2 stroke when it gets hot wont start....put new brushes in starter/gen & cleaned inside runs great but when you stop after it gets hot that is it till it cools off then starts fine....??????

Does it crank when hot?
If so, have you checked the crank seals? |

yes it cranks just fine spins like a top...just wont hit a lick

If it cranks good, check the two crank seals. There are many places on here that describe how to check them.

sure appreciate it.....will look for those......that is wild supercharging that....bet it runs Great......mine runs Great when it runs....LOL...this is my 1st cart we traded for it to take to the races we like to camp at the race track & go to the pits durng the day with it....it is a blast to run.... Good luck with it. The seals are likely the culprit. Cost about $8 a piece, but can be a little time consuming to replace.

Something else to consider. Get it hot and then open up the bolts between the exhaust to create a gap. Does it start now? If so your muffler is blocked with oil residue and needs a barbecue. This is quite a common issue with the 2 stroke Robin, I am about to give mine it's annual roasting.
