78 ezgo rebuilding problem

I am trying to rebuild a 1978 ezgo robins motor 244cc. This Is the motor that has the starter behide the flywheel. Anyways the question I have Is will a rebuild kit for a 1987 robins motor work on the 1978 motor. And If not does any one know where to get a rebuild kit for this old of a motor at?

Top end is the same, but flywheel end of the crank is different.
Having your crank rebuilt would make sense and save some money.
