Fan side seal question
Sorry guys. I know I'm asking a ton of questions. It'll all be over soon. So I replaced the fan side seal but accidentally tapped one side in a little deep. It's about a mm or two deep. Will that ruin anything? Should I take it out and get another one? I've already out it back together but it's bothering me that it's like that any may fail because of it.

Re: Fan side seal question
Sorry to say it, but redo the seal. I did a customers 2 cycle Ezgo earlier this year. Did not know I had installed it bad till he came back 3 months later because it wouldn't run again. Some aftermarket seals just don't have the tolerances to install them correctly

Re: Fan side seal question
I was afraid of that. It was a pain in the butt trying to get the seal seated. I would tap on one side the the other would pop out. Then I used some pvc but that made one side go in a little deeper. I'll see if I can get this seal off without breaking it otherwise I'm buying another one.
