thats what i'm lost on.
where do i run the return line to? the end of the exhaust?
lol
the tank doesnt have any return line opening.
the carb does have a nipple on top that i have no idea what its for, but i doubt thats for the overflow.
on the bowl there are two bolts, the bottom one obviously must be for the bowl but there is another one on the bottom. maybe thats for the overflow. but its a bolt, not a nipple.

You put a tee fitting in the fuel line going from the fuel pump towards the carb. You then run that line back to the top of the fuel tank.I used a 1/4 " npt hose adapter tapped into the top of the tank. The whole idea here is to relieve the excess pressure produced by the fuel pump to the carb that is designed for a gravity flow situation.

Well fk. The bolt that holds the starter, the one behind the flywheel has come out and is all stripped.

Caused some damage to the flywheel also, not sure if the clutch is damaged but it is loose now...

Not sure how I'm going to get it all off, I've never had any luck pulling clutches off the shaft.

That is not the flywheel. That is the S/G pulley. The flywheel is on the other side under the starter/fan housing. That is not a tapered shaft the clutch is on. It should slide right off.

Thats right it's not the flywheel. It won't slide off, it didn't slide on. It needed persuasion from a mini sledge. I'm just pissed that I have to pull the whole engine out and pull the clutch to fix this.

I was pretty pissed off, i kicked the dog, beat the kids, smacked my wife around and then I went out and had a hard look at it.

The bolt was stripped, the wheel was hitting it and it was slightly bent. so i decided the best thing is to put some loctite on it, what i should have done from the get go. i had just barely enough room to stick a 13mm wrench in there and slowly slowly slowly i tightened it. surprisingly it went back in all the way and i did not have to remove the clutch. i pulled the clutch bolt out and gave it a few taps with my little sledge and put the bolt back on.

ended up being a good day afterwords.

and no i didnt really beat the kids wife and dog.
