90 lbs is way to low. 155 to 175 lbs. I would think a bad gauge or a valve not opening/closing. Can't remember the last time the rings caused such low compression.

Good.. I saw one from Yamaha for $300
I have a nice blue spark with grounding the plug against the exhaust.. just some more information.. I even tried starting fluid with no luck. I'm sure this is going to be something stupid or simple.

I am going to take the valve cover back off and check out the exhaust side.. rocker arm was looser on the exhaust. Perhaps exhaust valve hung open.. I tried checking compression like 4 times all read about 90#

well it's ALIVE.. after getting much help from smallblock and going through everything 2 and 3 times. I finally got the G9 to run. I can't honestly pin point the cause, only because I worked on both electrical and mechanical. Maybe it was the Marvel Mystery oil I added..

What did you do to the ground problem to make it work?

I was checking the ground wrong, I showed my maintenance buddy the wiring diagram for the G2/G9.. I was checking the grounds with my meter on the negative side of the battery. DUH right..lol
He checked my solenoid today, and it was good.. maybe with me cleaning all the carbon dust from the starter and polishing the armature helped. I made sure everything was tight and cleaned up all grounds. After everything was buttoned up it fired right up. I also reset the valves, I had them too tight.
