Re: Gas club car surging at slow speed
I bought a new carb and a cheap tach and still having the same problem. By the tach it wants to run about 4000 rpms and if I try to go slower it bucks like its not getting gas. any ideas on what I am missing ?

Re: Gas club car surging at slow speed
I'd clean the original carb very well and put it back on.
If it has a rev limiter it would be under the front of the motor, small black box mounted to the front of the case just above the oil drain plug. But if you're running 4,000 rpm it's probably already been disconnected or removed. It's really not good for the 350 to run that high, the link rods to the balance weight will stretch and snap in half. You need to adjust the governor back down so it's under 3,800. Even then, you're pushing your luck. |
