Default G1 brush guard

Anyone know where to find a brush guard for a 1980 G1? Ive looked everywhere but nobody makes one. I tried making one out of conduit but im a new welder and just keep eating through it. I can do some welding and mods to one to make it fit if i can find one close enough.

Welcome to BGW!
Not going to find one for a G1, maybe you can find something here to modify.

I tried emailing them and they said "nothing will work" hopefully they get back to me with the dimensions i asked for to see if i can rig something up. Really need to protect the front cowl from all the trees that jump out at you at the deer lease.

Why not? Its going to be sitting at a deer lease year round, just want something to help with some protection.

Just buy what you think would do the job then modify it to mount up. I think this member got this one off ebay.
