Default '06 Gas TXT stuck in low gear-slow speed

I have a 2006 Gas TXT that when I start out it goes good but as speed builds it revs too high like it is not shifting to 2nd gear. If I let off the gas & let it coast I can feel it release or shift then when i hit the gas again it is fine & in high gear. What is causing this and how do I fix it? Many Thanks - Barry

either a very bad drive belt or one of the clutches is messed up, jack the cart up and see if both the clutches are moving in and out
