Default 88 2PG Crankshaft - Think it will seal?

It looks like the oil seals cut some circular grooves in the shaft. The rod seems good, so I was hoping I could save the shaft, but the grooves have me worried. I think they are smooth enough that they won't tear up a seal, but I'm not sure if the groove will leak. See the picture. Anyone have thoughts on this?

That should be cleaned up. It will chew up the seals.

Ok. After most is cleaned up there will still be a groove from the old seal. Any idea if the new seal can deal with it?

If ur going to keep the cart long term. I would replace it. Its not that much more to have a complete new motor.

Those marks don't look all that deep to me. It may clean up fine and still seal.

Have you thought about the possibly of double sealing that side. The reason I ask is on a rebuild I did I over drove the seal OPPS and it appeared I could have stacked a second seal to be about flush with the case without interference inside. On a side note I did remove the seal and installed a new one so but that would move the sealing area to a new location. Am I thinking to much
