How to maximize speed
Hello everyone. I have a 2010 gas rxv. my first question is does anyone have any feedback on the 8:1 speed gear. I am trying to maximize my cart. I am installing the erlandson clutch kit along with 205/35/14 tires. Does anyone know how to adjust throttle cable. I have been tinkering with it and have notice a backfire when I stop. What could be the cause. thanks in advanced

Re: How to maximize speed
If you have backfire then the linkage to the carb from the governor is being held too tight. If you adjusted the slack out of the throttle cable you might have gone too far. Don't know much about the gears on a gas cart, the electrical ezgo section has some info on gears. Do they make gears for a gas cart?
