I tried all I can think but nothing. I replaced the solenoid but yet nothing how do u test to see if the solenoid is working right or even wired correct. Please any help would be great it's my wife's cart and she uses it to get around the town. Thanks

Welcome to BGW Have you checked the fuse?? It may have blown when shorted. It may be an inline fuse or some are mounted to the back of the F/R shifter. Do you hear the solenoid click when the peddle is depressed? If not look at the small terminals on the solenoid one will be POS+ and other to ground if it has 2 terminals. Apply 12volts to the positive small terminal and you should hear a click. This can be done with a jumper wire from the battery to the post. Be sure the grounds are all tight and secure. First I would look at the fuse and go from there.

I rewired it so I wasn't sure what size the fuse should be so I did a 30 amp
I even replaced the solenoid but yet I still do not hear it click. |

Do you have 12 volts at the battery? You may have shorted out the battery itself. If you have 12 volts at battery post start a flow check from all things that should have 12 volts when key is on. You should be able to follow the voltage to a dead area. You should also charge your battery totally as it may be down very low if it shorted out. Now as a thought, I have seen batteries that shorted only when a load is put on them, so keep that in mind.
