Default Increasing Speed for a 2012 48V RXV Standard Electric EZGO

I have a 2012 Electric 48V EZGO RXV standard, and I am trying to increase the speed to freedom mode. I was thinking about purchasing a hand held programmer, but I don't know which type of controller I need and if that is all that is needed. I looked under the cup holder and notice a slot that had a 9 hole plug.

I need to know what speed controller I have installed in my cart and what hand held programmer would I need to increase the speed to freedom mode as well as do other diagnostic test. Will the Curtis 1313-4401 work for my cart and is this all I need? The plug I saw under the cupholder looks like the E-Z-GO RXV Handset plug (see attached pictures).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can tell by the picture its a curtis controller. The handheld is not whats used to unlock freedom mode. It can adjust speed up to 19mph after freedom mode is unlocked with this key. The plug under the dash is not used for programming with curtis controller. The port is under the seat, ziptied to the main positive battery cable.

The controller posted here is not a Curtiss controller. The Curtiss will not work on this 2012 because it has a Danaher plug and has to be programed with a Danaher handheld device. There is no plug under the seat.

The plug under the cupholder is present on curtis rxvs too, its just not used for programming. I have never seen any danaher carts with a black cover over the burn-off coil (reads "hot" embossed), danaher carts always had a raw aluminum cover. Mind removing the controller cover to have a peek/snap a pic? (instructions on label near switch). If the controller itself is black, its a Curtis, if its grey its a Danaher.

I can confirm mine is a 2010 RXV with a Danaher controller and it has the same exact plastic shroud with the run/tow switch installed on it. I would just take it and get it programmed for like $150. Even a used programmer is like 450.

Pic of cart with BLACK heatsink is probably curtis controller.
Curtis controller requires key to unlock freedom mode.

I dont know about "just laying around". I think they may have a purpose on a golf course that tows strings of carts around. The plug under the dash has a wire directly to the motor brake, i speculate this could how they unlock a string of carts to tow them (can also be used to disable a rxv by removing jumper plug).
