Western carts were rebadged Ezgos of the same year, platform. Often Western added bigger speed controls and motors to compensate for the heavier body. Some carts got 42 and 48v while stock Ezgo of the same year was 36v.
Hope this helps. Welcome and enjoy the cart life.

Thanks Scotty...Mine is a 36 volt system...I am now getting speeds of 25mph, occasionally hitting 26...I added a battery gauge but now i think it's junk...It goes down to yellow in a short time and i head home..Before the gauge was installed i wasnt running scared...The batteries are new in June of 18 US 2200...I checked the voltage at the battery meter and it was over 39...but reading yellow....

Buy ScottyB's digital volt meter, download a chart, and soon you'll learn when your pack is ready to go home.

What part of the owners manual are you looking for? It’s too many pages for me to scan but if you want wiring diagram or something I can send you a few photos

I love these Westerns and recently found a 2001 in great shape but I’m concerned about finding parts if something goes bad. Would love to hear your experiences.

I love these western cards. I recently found one to purchase. It’s a 48 V 2001.

I’m a little concerned about finding parts when needed. Can anyone share their experience regarding locating parts on a cart of this age ?
