Default Bad Boy Buggy converted to gas?

Anybody converted a bad boy buggy to a gas motor? I have a friend who wants me to do this. I can weld and fabricate enough to get buy. Curious if those 16 hp Clone motors would work?

How would you keep it four wheel drive? The way I understand it is the BBB has 2 electrical motors, one on each axle, it's not like a traditional 4x4 with one motor and transfer case getting power to both axles. There's a few threads where people are grafting their golf carts on four wheeler frames.

Sounds like a lot more work than it's worth. Sell the electric buggy and buy a gas powered one, or risk taking the buggy's value down to scrap if you can't finish it.

Thanks a lot guys. I didn't even know it was four wheel drive! Just a conversation I had with the owner and never even saw the buggy. Sounds like your right too much work. What about making it a 2 wheel drive?

You’d have no reverse... that would be the worst part for me.

You could make it two wheel drive. Or you could put another engine up front. It would be one bada-ss 4 wheel drive cart

You could have the front motor sticking up out of the cowl with a big chrome air scoop like a hot, or put a shaker hood scoop on it!

It is a two wheel drive. Do you think that being said its still not worth attempting the conversion?
