Default 2017 TXT Body Kit Options

I’m looking to purchase a 2017 TXT. Does anyone know a good website where I can view body kit options? Looking for Pearl White with a lighting kit and nothing too aggressive (live in a country club).

Also, what’s the max size wheels I can put on without lifting?

Thanks all!

speaking about stock bodies.....the largest tire's without installing a lift would be tires that have a 20" diameter.

Would that diameter be 14” rims or 12”?

Diameter of rim (wheel) and tire are - within limits - independent.

either, makes no difference, its the diameter of the tire that we are talking about. you can find them in all wheel diameters.

For instance: A 215/60R10 would be a 20" tall tire on a 10' rim.

The first # is the tread width measured in millimeters. Second # is what they call aspect ratio. It's the height of the sidewall (from the rim to the tread) represented as a percentage of the tread width. The "R", if it's there, just tells you it's a radial tire. Most older cart tires are NOT radials and would just have a dash (-) or X before the final # which is the diameter of the rim the tire is intended to fit.

So for this example: start with the 215. Divide it by 25.4 to convert to inches (1"=25.4mm). We'll round it off to 8.46". The aspect ratio of 60 means 60%, so 8.46 x .60 = 5.076. Since that sidewall distance is all the way around the rim, we have to account for it both above and below the wheel itself, so 5.076 x 2 = 10.152. Add to that the 10" wheel it goes on 10.152 + 10 = 20.152" spec diameter of the tire as mounted on the correct wheel.

What all that means is that you can use a larger diameter rim, if you use a tire with a shorter sidewall height (aspect ratio). You just need to stay around 20" to fit your cart without additional lift.

225/30R15 would be a tire 20.31" diameter, but on a 15" diameter wheel. There are many wheel and tire combinations that could fit.

As far as the body kit, you can check with some of the site sponsors who sell the DoubleTake Titan body kits. They’ll be close to the price of getting your original body painted professionally. Then there are the high end kits that look like HumVees, early Mustangs, Jeep CJs etc. Not sure what’s available yet for the “newer” TXTs, but some of those cost more than your cart did.
