Default Amber Battery Light

I have enclosed a picture of an amber battery indicator light mounted on my dashboard for my 2005 Club Car Precedent. The light does not go on. Just wondering when this light should go on. Not even sure it is working. Today I also installed a battery indicator right below the amber battery indicator light.

It only comes on if there is a problem sensed by the OBC.

I have been under the impression the light also comes on if the battery gets low while driving the cart. Just learning about these things, Jim.

That is correct. Or if you lose A/C power during the charge, less that 90%, etc. etc. All of it is triggered by the OBC and nothing else.

There are several reasons that light comes on. Most of them are described in the owners manual. Visit Club Car's website and there is a link to download the owners manual for any cart. All you need is your carts serial number.
