2010 rxv
I wanted to ask Bob info about the 2010 rxv. I guess since I've met him and we've bs'ed so much I don't feel like I'm bothering him when I ask him things in a PM. But, since he's sick and his mail box is full. I'll ask here for your advice.
Give me some info on the 2010. All I know is the "D" controller. What would someone expect to pay for it? Does the model year have quirks? Seems like motor brake might be. I'm considering a used one. |

Re: 2010 rxv
What most will tell you is get a 2012+ with a Curtis controller in it.

Re: 2010 rxv
They did have lots of corrosion problems in the wire harness in my experience.

Re: 2010 rxv
The Danaher RXV controllers were phased out and discontinued. Lack of the Danaher to be able to match the performance capabilities of the Curtis RXV controller would be a primary reason to go with the Curtis.

Re: 2010 rxv
Well against the advise I purchased a 2011 rxv.
I picked up some other carts as well. |

Re: 2010 rxv
Dang, I guess I'll begrudgingly be your new best buddy, I'm at a garia dealer. I'll help you as much as I can, but I wont order you parts (forum rules prohibit it, I hope). They're real nice carts, and a big pain to work on. If you wanted to deal directly with garia, instead of asking me, I also wouldn't mind. If it's a flood cart, I'm out.. their wiring is too convoluted without water damage.

Re: 2010 rxv
Yea, he picked the worst of the worst. At least he'll gather experience of what not to do again. If all else fails, I found a Danaher to Curtis conversion kit while looking for something else...
