Question was eight 6 volt batteries - excess weight. He also asked several other questions regarding weight.
The weight of the cart keeps bowing the springs further down I'm sure. I was trying to get some clearance in a club car one time like that, and the longer I made the shackles the further the springs bowed. Ended up putting HD springs on it, then nothing could make it bow, but it was a rigid ride.

My HD springs are fine for me, but I do have two extra batteries and a rear seat - weight. Mine feels fine with just me, 180 lbs. Every HD spring may not be equal. I prolly paid too much, but got 'em at shopezgo.com.

When i lifted my 01 TXT, i ordered aftermarket HD springs on a recommendation. They were 3 leaf. Installed and HATED the ride quality. Ended up removing the 3rd leaf. Ride quality is better and still handles the weight of rear seat riders.

I asked Shopezgo for recommendations and this is what I ended up with. Four leaves, and I run on smooth roads and bumpy gravel and a wooden bridge over our lake.

Part number and minor tweaking required. If you zoom in on the original springs, the round bump is smaller than nut head on the new ones. Minor shaving cured that.
