Purchasing L6 - 48 or 72? and how to avoid speed issues ?
I am going to purchase a 6 Passenger cart and am not sure whether to choose 48 volt or 72 volt and definitely want to avoid the speed issues I have read about in other threads. Can anyone help guide me as to what specifications to choose to make sure I can address before (or after) ? Thank you so much !

You definitely do not want the 48V version. It is slow and cannot be reprogrammed to go much more than a few MPH faster. The battery pack voltage is too low to drive the motor to higher performance, even if you were to switch to an aftermarket SepEx controller.
The 72V version can be reprogrammed (with great care) to run at up to 30 MPH. |
