Please disregard my last post about the bubbling. I was just being paranoid. I've checked every connector and switch. Everything is perfectly dry and all check out with continuity. Brought the solenoid to a local cart shop. They said it was dead so I bought a new one and installed it. Same thing. No power to the controller. The Stat light does not light up and the fan doesn't turn on. I connected the controller to my laptop and the Stat light comes on and blinks 4 times. The computer recognizes it but there are no readings in the monitoring section.

The +5V from the laptop via the USB cable partially powers up the XCT. Just enough to see the settings on the various monitoring screens so you can program it on the bench.

For normal operation the voltage that powers the electronics comes in on J1 Pin-4 (Called C1 Pin4 on the XCT schematics) from the reed switch, or reed switch bypass.

Get voltage to J1 Pin-4 and we'll continue troubleshooting from there, if needed.

Attached is a drawing showing the voltage paths through a stock PDS controller. The voltage paths through an XCT is almost the same. The difference is the next point the voltage goes to after the Run/Tow switch is the F/R switch AND the Keyswitch.

Just to be clear. There is power at the J1 Pin-4 on the plug but the controller does not power on.

What on that diagram would I check next?
