Default Sudden power loss txt 48

Need some help on this one, guys.
My 2015 txt48 started having an issue with instant power loss and a hard stop.
Applying full power to the go pedal either in reverse or forward causes small acceleration than a jerk stop. Applying to go pedal slowly the cart will creep but will eventually have the same issue after a couple of feet.

This started 3 or 4 weeks ago. So I serviced the batteries (still original trojen at this point) took off some wiring, cleaned it and luckaly cart started working. I assumed I need new batteries since they are old. The cart ran fine for 2 weeks and then the same exact problem happened. I clean the posts try again. No go.
Ok, got new batteries. And then to my surprise same issue.

Any suggestions

What kind of controller? Can you test or swap out the motor speed sensor? Or maybe just inspect it for cracks?

The cart is stock so the controller is what came from the factory. I did not see any unique model on it.

The speed controller looks like is held by a circular pin and from the outside, it all looks fine. I can take it off by looks to be in good condition from the outside.

Found the issue. Even though the solenoid was testing fine with a multimeter it did not click on 48v was applied to the small posts. Replaced the solenoid and she is running again.
