48v RXV - 36v Solenoid??? & cable question
Hi all,
In the process of changing my batteries over and also upgrading to 2ga cables I noticed that the solenoid doesn't look anything like the one in the service manual and has a label on it saying 36V? Is this solenoid the right one for the cart? Also the cables came with all the battery cables and battery +ve and -ve but there is also a short cable from the solenoid to the controller - should this be upgraded to 2ga as well? I have a spare 2ga cable from the original battery set (Its is black but about the same length) Thanks again T |

Yes go ahead and put your 2 ga cable on it.
Going back and looking at your pervious posts you have a 2009 RXV with a Danaher controller so that 36v solenoid is right for your cart. |

You actually have the better solenoid, the original was a useless pig. One small upgrade done for you. And as odd as it may sound, a 36v solenoid is totally correct for your cart.

OK - going to change the +ve cable from solenoid to controller - will put cart in tow mode first - should I disconnect battery pack as well?
Manual also recommends draining stored energy from controller by running reverse buzzer in run until it runs down - assume I put it back into Tow mode after doing that? T |
