motor
Finally finished putting new brushes on motor (36 volt EZ GO); tested it and worked fine, making humming sound and seemed normal. Mounted motor and runs @ normal speed, except that now it makes a higher pitch sound than before fix; no overheat and no problems on the go, plus it seems to run better; the only problem as described-relatively high pitch electrical motor humming noise. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Re: motor
Most High Speed motors are going to "whine" due to the higher RPM the armature is turning......

Re: motor
how was the bearing in the rear of the motor?
Yes these motors do make a "whining" noise. |

Re: motor
The bearing rolling unobstructed.
The roads like Golf Courses - no problem there.. But whining definitely! I just can't think the cause of the problem; Any other ideas appreciated... |

Re: motor
have you checked your diff fluid. It may not be a bad idea to change the fluid and see if it changes tone.
