Look in my avatar pic and you'll see my solution - flip seat with a large mixing trough from tractor supply ($17) strapped down - when we need more seating room to get more hunters out, I strap it to the top like this and flip the seat up to use as seating instead of the flat bed:

What they are saying is that the factory seat back frame where the back rest, roof supports and bag holder are attached to will have to be replaced. Many companies will sell you the new seat back mounts that will let you us a dump bed and factory roof struts. I wish i had a pic but i dont. You can call one of our site sponsors like 3r and everything carts and tell them what you are wanting to do and they will be able to help you.

Lizardleg,

That last picture is hilarious. You just need to add hot water and salt for deer stew... haha

libertybellcdr - thanks! The first deer I loaded up it was just the flat bed in back - had to stop half a dozen times to rearrange and strap it back down. With the tote, it's 100 times easier to load them and strap them down - even built the rack you see with the fanny packs hanging on it to, well, hang the fanny packs when the tote was in use, and to strap the bigger deer to - it has hooks I added that the bucks legs are strapped to.

That is one strong looking bed. I think I will do the receiver hitch thing too. Do you use the hitch much?

Much? Not really. I only completed the build late last winter. I did tow my highway trailer and a little yard trailer this summer. I cleaned out a ditch the old fashion way with pick and shovel. I loaded rocks then shoveled dirt. Then placed the rocks back in the ditch. All debri was hauled by my cart. It pulled like a champ. The hitch is nice to have. I hope to pull the kids on sleds if we get some snow that stays around while the temps warm up. Put it on now so your not kicking yourself later.
