Default Swap CC/EZ-GO charger cords???

I bought an LVS 36/48 switchable charger last year and am happy with it but I am in a weird situation and need advice. I bought the charger for my 36volt Club Car so it came with the two prong CC plug. Now I am going to sell my club car and I want this charger for my EZ-GO that I am about to convert to 48 volts. I noticed that the EZ-GO cord has the predictable WHITE/BLACK wires AND an extra thin RED wire that the CC cord does not have. My question is if I switch cords where does the red wire go in the LVS charger? Also will my old Powerwise II 36 volt charger work on the Club Car without having that red wire to "trigger" anything? I would really like to avoid having to sell and buy chargers again if I can swap what I have between my two carts.

Anyone done this before?
P.S. the CC is a 1993 series/resistor cart and the EZ-GO is a 2004 Series/Controller (non PDS/DCS) cart if that matters.

Giving this a bump as I am curious as well. The Lester charger on my CC is noisy and I am pondering swaping out the plug from the EZ charger I am replacing with Protech on board charger to the CC.

Someone will come along and give some guidance.

I am actually just thinking of giving the dual charger with the CC when I sell it. I guess I now have a Powerwise II 36 volt for sale. It puts out 21 amps so it is a great charger but I am going up to 48 volts very soon.
