95 txt dcs motor wiring
I've got two neighbors that just purchased EZGO TXT DCS carts (one 1995 the other is a 97 model). The serial numbers have been checked to ensure models and drive systems (unless changed by a previous owner) both carts have wires so we are going to rewire both carts with 4 gauge. The wires going from the motor to controller on both carts are very small (like 8-10 guage), the other 2 motor leads have 6 gauge. On my club car I used 4 gauge on all 4 motor connections but it is a series cart with Alltrax DCX. When re-wiring what size do those controller wires need to be?

They should all be the same size. I have 4ga everywhere.

The two 10g wires can stay. The two 6g should be changed to 4g for better amperage delivery.

Thanks Scotty, I figured that was the case, are they just communication or what?
