Club Car IQ just stopped

My son was riding our lifted cart on a open trail along the edge of a field today and said he heard what he thought was a stick that he ran over hitting off the bottpom of the cart, so he stopped and looked under it to clear the stick, but couldn't find one. He got back on the cart, but now the cart won't run, all you can hear is a clicking when you apply throttle. We checked it out but can't see anything obvious. The only thing that I saw at all was the one motor wire crimped connection looks a little loose but still has a lot of solid connection but it just looked a little " burnt"
