Symptoms of failing or failed motor brushes
If my cart's motor brushes are failing, what symptoms should I see?
Is is likely that a sudden complete failure (no-go) would occur, or would I have noticeable symptoms over a period of time? Have the G.E., p/n 101785701, in 1996 CC DS. Thank you |

Re: Symptoms of failing or failed motor brushes
Col_G,
The motor could fail immediately, but it could also take a bit of time. Symptoms would include jerky running, unusual sounds coming from the motor, etc. Total failure would probably follow rather quickly. If you notice this sort of thing, get it figured out sooner, not later, as it will shortly deteriorate into major expense. |
