Re: Wiring for 97 ez-go electric
The MFG code will not get you info on the EZGO site, you have to put in the SER.# and the EZGO site will tell you the year,/maybe the MFG code L1597 means it is a 97, the OP said no F/R on the dash, so that means it;s a DCS or SERIES.

Re: Wiring for 97 ez-go electric
OK, This is what I have. Make:Shuttle Type:Electric 36 V
Model:Electric Shuttle 2+2 Year: 1997 Got that info from the EZ-GO site using the serial number instead of the Mfg. Code. I also found a manual that appears to be real EX=GO product. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-2006-Ez...9c84dd&vxp=mtr I ordered one and hope it's real. Only $9.99 and free shipping. When I get it, I'll let everyone know. Last edited by Gr8Actor; 10-28-2013 at 10:59 AM.. Reason: Adding info. |

Re: Wiring for 97 ez-go electric
If there is a blue small wire with a ring terminal that is part of the stock wiring harness, it probably is a DCS and blue is the - side of the solenoid activation circuit. The series carts had red and black wires on the solenoid activation circuit. That being said, there should be a run tow toggle somewhere near the controller. And if it was not flipped to Tow before messing with wires, that could be bad.
