the cart does the same thing with or without diode or resistor.when the cart came to me there was no resistor on the small post.I believe the controller is bad.I plan to install a used one i have and see what happens. Sounds like I didn't do damage if I had the diode /resistor board on wrong. Thank you guys for the help. If I still have problem after installing controller I will start a new tread.
