hello new to ez go carts

I just got my first ez go electric and have no clue what year or model it is? also I have charged the batteries they all read good but it will only run for about 10 min the start to die. I check the batteries and they still read about 5.9v what do it look for or check? i was told this is a 80's cart. I want to put a lift and tires on it but need to get it running right before i do that. any help will be appreciated thanks in advanced

If the cart runs OKay but doesn't last then batteries are weak, the 5.9 reading is very low for 6v battery. see battery voltage chart below

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.



oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
