Battery Water levels
Hi folks, I have an Electric Cart with (6) 8v Trojan T875 batteries with a Delta Q onboard charger. I have had not had to service the water levels for 6 months now and no batteries even need water. Seems very strange. I have about 580 miles on it during that time. I plug the cart in as soon as I return no matter how far. No problems, just seems very different than my CC that I had the same type batteries in with the external CC charger and I serviced batteries sometimes twice a month.
I am not complaining, but am I missing something here? Thanks, M |

Re: Battery Water levels
You may well be missing a strong initial or bulk charge rate. This high rate is meant to induce the release of hydrogen gassed from the bottom of the battery causing the settles particles to be re mixed into the 'water'

Re: Battery Water levels
Scotty thanks for the come back. Most of time less than 5-10 miles. Once it ran 51 miles and I was down to the yellow light indicator. I will have to check manual on the led flashing when charging indicator by the charging cord.
Thanks, M |
