engine keeps running
I have a 2006 gas Yamaha cart that I use for a pit vehicle for my race team. Yesterday it developed this problem. When you come to a stop the enging keeps running at what seems to be a low idle. If you turn off the key it keeps running. If you disconnect the negative battery cable, it keeps running! The only thing that shuts it off is pulling the plug wire. Doesn't do it every time but more times that not for sure. Any thoughts?

Re: engine keeps running
Sounds like maybe the switch on the gas pedal malfunctioning.

Golf cart guy - I found the solenoid - does Trombetta and 114 1211 010 sound like the right part number?
