99 txt with alltrax 300 amp hesitates in forward

I have a 99 36v, 2ga wires, new F&R, solenoid and 300 amp alltrax. When I try to go forward sometimes it doesn't go when you push the gas until about 2-3 seconds and jolts forward like full power. Solenoid clicks as soon as pedal is pressed. Reverse also works instantly but is only about half speed. I can look up how to adjust that but the forward has me stumped. I just bought all brand new batteries yesterday.

Update, just tested it again. No forward, we in reverse once now no reverse. Have 38.8v at solenoid. Get 3 green led blinks on the controler.

Which drive system are you asking about?
The AXE series control would give 3 grn blinks if throttle type was set to 0-5k input. In a TXT which is a voltage signal you could get the response you describe. If this is the case the controller needs reprogramming if possible. Note not all models are programmable. So we need to know what model control you are asking about also.

I have the no programable version. I just checked the wiring on everything again with the diagram and everything is good. Could it be the throttle sensor I the pedal box?

I can help you right here for free. The controller you have is non programmable. Is it labeled 0-5k throttle? If yes, it will not work with that cart. The 99 TXT has ITS throttle. The control cannot read the throttle signal properly if they are mismatched.

It says npx4834ez on it. Where would it say the throttle input?

Someplace? Read everything on it. - but you don't have to read it... when an alltrax control powers up it gives an LED code for the throttle program. The code may not be 3 grn as stated? 1,4,7 are the throttle codes available. The TXT should be 4 green. Ezgo 0-5k = 1 green. Can you check it again?
