Bingo - Every battery to battery wire should connect a + to a -
 A consequence of this error is reverse is seeing only 12v instead of 18v as designed. For more power in reverse it can be connected to 24v, 30v, or even full 36v. |

Yup that did it. Thanks. I knew I probably f'd something up with the batteries. I took a picture of the old ones and everything before I took them out. Just couldn't read the post / negative in the pictures because of all the corrosion on the old ones

I plugged the charger in now and it's still reading 0 on the meter. Think the fuse is blown on the charger. I can hear it make a noise when I plug it in. Or is it not charging because they don't need to be charged?
