Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
That's a what I wanted to do but im sure that the bolts are set up on the bushings and they are a pain in the bottom to get out if they are. I have already gotten the G2 frame swing arm all cleaned and painted for the swap. Thank you vey much Dave for everything that you do for me and all the heads up. You are my number 1 go to guy.

Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
I also want to clean the rear end up very well also so I would have been taking it all apart anyway. The engine will be getting a complete overhaul also.

Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
Makes perfect sence. Those bolts/bushings can be a pain in the A$$. Plus I like you going thru it and not taking a chance on rusted bolts ect. Carry on

Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
Im in! You need to be more careful next time, somehow I missed this will have to look it up. Poor G9, still alot of good parts in there. Pull the frame out and weld a ATV front on it! I know its cool to hit the No2 and do a wheelie up a hill but you can't see to steer that way..... or maybe your wheelie bars were not adjusted properly....

Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
I got the wrecked G9 all torn down and the G2 frame painted black. The frame is all painted now but I was only about half done in this picture. I had it off from the jack stands and turning it over.

Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
Ouch, you did a number on that G9 frame, I straightened out a G8 frame before, but that my friend is scrap, I'm surprised you came out of that with only cuts and bruises, could of been a lot worse.. I don't know about you but getting a little older an making the wrong move, bend or twist causes me to hurt for weeks..

Re: My g9 rebuild after caw
Im still not fully recovered. My wrist and the muscle below my right knee still bother me. The welds on the other side are all cracked also. The floor pan was just laying loose on the floor also.
