Default Has anyone else had issues with the Doubletake rear seats??

I had a customer call today and say that the rear seat kit broke over the weekend and possibly injured some people!! They're bringing it in today so we can get a better look at it but they were claiming that it's a terrible design. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues before I see it and contact Doubletake. Thanks for any info

Which seat is it? I've installed 6 or 8 Patriot seats, and haven't had a problem yet. That's what I run on my personal cart.

II haven't used any of them yet, but they are suppose to be premium seat for Doubletake.

I'll post some pics when I'm able but the entire kit is plastic and it looks as though the bolts have pulled through the plastic. This happened as the cart was stopped and people were stepping up on it; had it had happened when they were driving it could have been really bad!

Here are some of the pics...I've looked at an install video and nothing seems missing I think it's just a poor design. Thoughts??

I have the exact same seat and have not had any problems. I had 4 people back there over Thanksgiving with no problems.

I've had several of them break. All on the same cart by the same customer. The other ones that I've sold (100s of them) have been fine. I consider it operator error.

Yeah. I had a guy in Mississippi who hunted with it and repeatedly overloaded it and tied straps to it to drag trees that were in his way. Other than him, I've never had any issues with them.
