Default Wiring to the Motor Terminals

Hello All, I've been stalking this site for a while and finally going to post.
I inherited a 94 Medalist that wasn't in the greatest of shapes so I'm rebuilding it. Why? Well, why not....!

With my new Scottyb Alltrax SR48400 and 200 Solenoid arriving (I'll receive the HD F&R hopefully today), it's time to wire everything up.

I am not confident in the terminals on the motor. I posted a pic of the sticker that was on the motor. Perspective wise I can see the terminals in 2 different formations (see pic). Can anyone tell me which drawing is correct #1 or #2? Looking down on top of the motor with the terminals below.

I did test the motor with 12 volts. I used the #2 sequence.
I jumped S1 and A2. Positive to S2. Negative to A1. Motor spun.
Any help would be greatly appreciated..!!

Sideways, I really do appreciate the pics, it helps out tremendously. This confirms the #2 picture I drew I made is the correct one.
