99 TXT Full Conversion Performance ?
I have a 99 TXT, as shown in my sig, that I upgraded. Here is what I did; 48v conversion with brand new T875s, Admiral MOT-B1 motor, 600a altrax SR controller, SW202 FR contactor, 400 solenoid, 2ga wires. I'm sure I'm leaving a few things out. Everything but motor purchased from Scotty (thanks for your help). My issue is the cart doesn't seem to perform like i thought it would. i am getting 19 mph on flat roads and 12 to 14 mph up hills. It just seems sluggish. Is this what I should expect or do i need to change something or check something? Any recommendations would

Re: 99 TXT Full Conversion Performance ?
The motor and the batteries are not broken in yet. Both speed and performance should improve a little bit when that happens. This is a series cart. Series carts produce more torque than speed. And the tall tires have reduced your torque by almost 25%. Plus the added weight will reduce performance. I think given the size of the cart and the tires that it is performing as expected.
You can save a monitor file using the Alltrax software and we can verify that everything is working properly. |

The software and manual are here. Download the software and connect to the controller with a standard printer cable as shown in the owners manual on page 27 and follow the instruction in the software manual for saving a monitor file on page 25.

I got a voltage reducer from Scotty and will probably do the other component upgrades from him as well. As far as cosmetic, I have ideas, but it will need the wife and kids approval I think... |
