ezgo stops when I push the pedal all the way

Scottyb,
I will verify sn and model. I work in electronics so hopefully I can figure it out
once i get the cart out. one question is the ITS built into the controller or is it a separate device.

It's in the pedal box under the floor mat

its definitely a 2002. I drove it tonight and wanted to tell you what happened
i backed it out and it died when i went to the floor with the pedal.
drove back up at full speed and worked fine, backed down again and tried to go back up and wouldn't move. could hear the clicking and i think i heard a double click. then tried reverse wouldn't move. when i pushed with my foot i could get it to move with the pedal down. finally it worked to get it back in the garage. so its intermittent but getting worse. i appreciate you replying, trying to get as much info as i can beore saturday

did you see what happened new last night. I think Im gonna jack up the rear
with pedal depressed and wiggle my wiring first. that is the easiest.
do you think it could be the solenoid.

gbeach, a few posts up ScottyB posted a link for you to determine what drive system your cart has. This is important info that he needs to determine what direction to go with troubleshooting. Please check that link and tell us what drive system you have. Without that, everyone is running blind and won't be able to help you

you mean if it has the inductor instead of the potentiometer.
its a 2002 ezgo.

No if it's a 2002 it is no doubt using ITS but that's not the only component in the drive system. Again, check the flowchart and see what kind of drive you have...... Series or PDS??????? Go check that or nobody can help you.

now sometimes when i push the pedal down i hear the click but it won't move at all. and sometimes it will run full speed. I havnt had time to check anything yet but would this indicate something else wrong

It sounds like you have a wet throttle box. If that's the fact then the fix is as easy as borrowing Momma's hair dryer for a little bit
