Motor to controller cables.

I got the new 2 gauge cables but they are still getting hot

Only the motor to controller cables or the battery cables as well? Are all terminals clean and free of any corrosion? Do the cables have the correct 5/16” ring terminals? How hot are they getting? Can you touch them without burning your fingers?

You can touch cables but the cart starts jerking like mcor issue when they heat up. It's the motor cables that are hottest. Nothing is corroded

One should not be causing the other.....

Do you have a diode on the solenoid coil - if so is it oriented correctly. If you did not mess with it or replace it then no issue there.

The cables do not seem overly hot to me...

Lets make sure your MCOR is not going out. Unplug the two pin connector from the MCOR (under the floor and connected to a linkage from the pedal) and jump out the connector with a paper clip or a small piece of wire. It will be a blue wire and green wire connector. If it runs with the jumper in place, your MCOR has failed. Get one here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors

I've tested the mcor before it tested fine. But no I don't have diobe, I bought one but the connectors on it were way too small

All I can say is there ~appears to be an MCOR or solenoid problem, unless the controller has an issue.

And remember, the MCOR is two part; micro-switch AND potentiometer.

Double check all your cabling for a lose connection or a faulty terminal or lug.

Which motor cables are heating up? What motor and controller combination do you have? Could be your overdriving your motor and it is heating them up.
