Default G2 electric woes...

Can this old cart get bigger batteries or will in need to stay 36V? I’m new to the electric scene... These 6V’s are shot. Also needing a charger

You could go to 48v, but its gonna be harder on the resistor coils. Solenoid should be changed to 48v also. Since you have to get batteries & a charger, now would be the time to change. You would use GC8 8v batteries instead of the 6v batteries it's supposed to have. (But I did notice that one 8v in there).

Seems like a decent hassle. Not sure if I’m going to convert to 3-12v deep cycles or part it out...? Still unsure

Converting to 3x 12v deep cycle marine batteries greatly diminishes the cart value, because it just doesnt work well, poor range, and poor battery lifespan. And, when your fed up with the compromised battery situation, you no may no longer have the 6 original battery cores, so converting it back to correct just got even more expensive. Dont do it.

No problem! I’ve started to part it out today. Wasn’t getting much feedback
