Default 06 g22 wont go unless i wiggle it

the solenoid clicks but cart wont move. i can wiggle back and forth in the seat to make the cart roll and then the cart will start up and drive away. the cart also cuts on and off at full throttle. when the cart is stopped and i push the cart forward it rolls easily. there is no regen braking kicking in to stop it from rolling away. Does all of this sound like the speed sensor and not a bad controller? i took the sensor out. the magnet looks fine.

i read the test for the speed sensor is to push the cart forward and if the regen does not try to make the cart stop then its a bad speed sensor

Regen braking uses the motor as a generator - that load causes the friction / braking effect. If the brushes are gone the power never goes through the armature, so nothing would happen. Speed sensor could limit speed once moving, but would not prevent it from moving from a dead stop.

I pulled the motor out. How do the brushes and armature look to you? Should it be good to go with new brushes

Also 2 of the brushes are stuck and do not slide freely in the holder

2nd post in this thread...

Armature does not look great either but brushes are your issue for not going.

This portion is partially incorrect, the speed sensor can detect any rpm above zero, but the motor itself is only capable of keeping it "as slow as possible", not capable of holding at zero rpm.
