Tested oil pump on 89; Surprise!

Perhaps the pump is worn and cavatating. We have run 200 horsepower snowmobile engines 9000 RPM on 50/1 mix, just use good synthetic or blend.

the factory called for a 128:1 but you could go a little richer if you want and if you look on the net there are low smoke oils available.
