Motor mounts?
The mount that is under the rear tire that has 4 rivets on the four corners and a bolt through the middle of it with a rubber grommet\washer is worn out on my 85 gas ez-go. I was guessing that this was called a motor mount but now after reading the motor mount posts I am a little scared I may have ordered the wrong parts. I ordered two motor mounts because the picture looked just like the part I needed. I do not have a manual. Can anyone tell me if this is indeed the motor mount.
If so how do I replace this? Do I drill out the rivets on the old one? If so, how do I install the new ones? Drill out holes bigger and put nut and bolts in it? Thanks in advance for the help. Steve |

Re: Motor mounts?
the rubber mount with the metal sleave is what you'll receive.
take the old ones off, and the new ones snap into the slots. DO NOT DRILL OUT THE BRACKETS ON THE FRAME THAT HOLD THE NEW MOUNTS. |
